Create Streets exists to help solve the issue of housing unaffordability and to enable neighborhoods and developers to create beautiful street-based places of sufficient density that will be popular with the community, are likely to be correlated with strong societal wellbeing outcomes and prove excellent long term investments based on the historical data of value appreciation and maintenance costs.

Our goal is to make it easier to develop high density, beautiful, street-based economically and socially successful developments which locals will love for generations to come. The United States is home to some of the world’s greatest and most iconic cities, from the palm fringed Art Deco streets of Los Angeles to the brownstone terraces of New York City, yet so much new development still takes place in sprawling, car-reliant and environmentally unsustainable suburbs. Smaller towns and cities often struggle with downtowns in decline, despite their historical assets.

While there has been significant progress in recognizing the failures of the past, there is still long way to go in building much more of America’s new homes in affordable, diverse, popular and successful street-based neighborhoods.
