REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

Course aims
This one day drawing course is aimed primarily at town planners, urban designers or students in these fields who have little or no hand drawing experience.

The objective is to teach attendees the foundations of hand drawing specifically for urban planning and design work. With these foundations in place, delegates should be more confident in producing their own hand drawings for meetings, presentations, design codes and planning documents.

The course will be led by architectural technician, Mark Shepherd.

Afterwards

The course includes a month of feedback time where delegates can submit their work for evaluation and critique and will hopefully encourage an ongoing process of improvement.

When and where

• The course will take place from 10:00 till 15:00 on Saturday 12 November

• It will take place in Create Streets’ offices in central London at 81 Lambeth Walk SE11 6DX which is 8 minutes’ walk from Lambeth North Tube Station and 16 minutes’ walk from Vauxhall Station. It is also close to bus routes 3, 344, 360, 77, 507 and C10

Practicalities

Delegates will be given a recommended list of drawing materials to bring along but pens, rulers and pencils will be available for those who don’t have them. Tea, coffee, water and snacks will be provided but delegates should bring a packed lunch.
