A vision for a village regeneration
- Strategic advice to support the growth of a village including feasibility assessment of brownfield sites, an illustrative plan for a village square and designs for new vernacular buildings.
- Working with a landowner we established a holistic strategy to kick-start regenerative change in a village through re-greening, improving the beauty and walkability of the main street and building new homes in keeping with the distinctive historic character. We developed a growth strategy that would knit the village together, re-purposing small opportunity sites into places where the community could grow and people could flourish through the creation of a new village square, affordable homes and flexible workshop spaces.
