We have been designing a masterplan and vision for an urban extension of approximately 2,750-3,000 homes for the county town of Trowbridge, in Wiltshire. Nestled along the historic Kennent & Avon Canal with wonderful access to the Wiltshire countryside, this will be an exemplary development reflective of the local character and vernacular. The masterplan includes new schools, shops, and places to work all set within extensive areas of parkland and green routes to ensure that this is a walkable and cyclable community with nature right on its doorstep. We have been working closely with ecologists, engineers and landscape consultants to ensure this is a truly sustainable development which will increase local biodiversity and protect existing woodland and hedgerows. Our client has been working closely with local landowners to ensure this will be a place with strong legacy and co-created through engagement with local residents.
